Birgit von Tiedemann

Birgit Von Tiedemann has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Birgit is currently working as a Senior Manager Product Lifecycle Lead at LifeScan. Previously, they worked at Roche where they held multiple positions including Unit Lead Strategy & Lean Production System, Head Operational Excellence, Team Lead Business Process Excellence, and Business Process Excellence Manager. Birgit was also a Master Black Belt at LifeScan Scotland Ltd., a Johnson & Johnson company, where they played a key role in redesigning the product development process. Additionally, they were a Senior Scientist and team leader at LifeScan Scotland Ltd., where they led a project to address issues highlighted in a Credo survey. Prior to that, they worked as a PhD Student at GBF.

Birgit Von Tiedemann obtained their PhD in Chemistry/Bioanalytik from Technische Universität Braunschweig from 1989 to 2000. In addition, they hold certifications such as Professional Scrum Master 1 (PSM 1) from Scrum.org (obtained in 2021), Prosci Change Management Practitioner from Prosci (obtained in 2017), Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute (obtained in December 2012), and Master Black Belt from Johnson & Johnson (obtained in 2006).
