Rob Perez is the Operating Partner at General Atlantic and the Founder and Chairman of Life Science Cares, a Boston-based organization focused on utilizing the capabilities of Life Science companies for societal good. Rob is also the Co-Founder of BLOC:Biopharma Leaders of Color and serves on the Board of Directors for Immunocore and Vir Biotechnology, Inc. Additionally, Rob is a Board Member of Life Science Cares Philadelphia and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. With a background in business marketing, Rob holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BS from California State University, Los Angeles.

Life Science Cares (LSC) is a collective effort of the life science industry connecting companies with nonprofits that improve the lives of people living in poverty in Greater Boston, Philadelphia, San Diego, New York & San Francisco. In Boston, LSC harnesses the sector’s human and financial resources from companies and supports a portfolio of 25 nonprofit organizations. LSC’s partner organizations work to address basic survival needs like food and shelter, improve education, and develop job skills that increase long term economic sustainability for the community’s most vulnerable neighbors.
