Dale Willard

Dale joined the Life Science Washington team in January of 2020. He has over 20 years of experience creating “win-win” strategic business opportunities in the life sciences. As a serial entrepreneur, consultant, investor, and PhD chemist, he built companies, raised capital, launched products, created strategic partnerships, and monetized IP portfolios. He founded and led two successful startups, Advanced MicroLabs and Carbo Analytics, now owned by Mettler Toledo, with applications in clinical diagnostics, power, pharmaceuticals, biofuels, food, and beverages. He received his PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Colorado State University and remains an active review panelist for the NIH and other agencies and journals. He continues to mentor startup companies through Life Science WA Institute and others.
