Rich Mueller has over 25 years of experience in the medical device and consumer products industries. Rich began their career in 1995 as a Project Engineer at Procter & Gamble, where they were responsible for developing products and managing projects. In 1998, they moved to Volk Optical as R&D Manager, and in 2001 they joined Theken Spine as Director of R&D. In 2005, they were appointed Vice President of Product Development at NuVasive, and in 2011 they became Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer at TransEnterix, Inc. In 2015, they joined Life Spine & Centric Medical as Chief Operating Officer, and in 2021 they were appointed to the Board of Trustees at Case Western Reserve University.
Rich Mueller attended Case Western Reserve University from 1990 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
