La'Portia Jackson, MS, LAC is an experienced professional in the field of mental health counseling and leadership. Serving as Company Commander at 233D RTI Army National Guard since May 2021, La'Portia also provides individual and group therapy at Life Strategies Counseling, Inc. since December 2021, where custom therapeutic plans are developed for clients facing various mental health issues. Previously, La'Portia contributed to COVID-19 initiatives as a Plan Developer for the Arkansas Army National Guard and oversaw mental health services at Methodist Family Health. La'Portia's early career included a clinical internship and ownership of a beauty academy. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Capella University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
