Peter Coombs has extensive experience in biochemistry, primarily in assay development and screening. Currently serving as Scientific Director and previously as Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist at LifeArc since May 2015, Peter has contributed significantly to this field. Prior to this, service at LifeArc (formerly MRC Technology) as a Scientist from May 2012 to April 2015 solidified expertise in assay development. Peter’s research foundation was established at the NIMR as Investigator Scientist and Career Development Fellow from May 2007 to May 2012, complemented by experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Manchester in 2003. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry from Imperial College London.
