Ashika Mulagada

Ashika Mulagada has worked in a variety of roles in the technology sector. In 2018, they began as a Graphic Designer for the Associated Students of University of Portland, and also took on the role of Engineering Grader and Research Assistant at the University of Portland. In their Research Assistant role, they redesigned visualization on Semantic Network Analysis Pipeline web portal through Javascript and WebGL to improve clarity, added XML parsing functionality, preprocessed and normalized images to increase accuracy, and fixed bugs for deep neural network to categorize image segments and calculate waste compositions. Ashika also researched and developed methods to disambiguate signal data for the Water Waste project. In 2019, they became a User Experience Design Intern at Liveops, Inc. and in 2020, a Software Engineer Intern at American Express. In 2021, they became a Software Engineer at Capital One, and in 2022, a Founding Engineer at LifeAt.

Ashika Mulagada attended the University of Portland from 2017 to 2021 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
