Alan Papa

Alan Papa is the current director at Lifebanc. Prior to this, they served as the president and chief operating officer at Akron General Health System from January 2011 to November 2015. In this role, they were responsible for the three-hospital system, which included Akron General Medical Center, Lodi Community Hospital, and Edwin Shaw Rehabilitation Institute. Alan led a performance improvement program and was responsible for the labor management system. Alan also implemented a service excellence program, which improved inpatient patient satisfaction. Under their leadership, the profitability at AGMC increased by $19 million to $25 million from 2011 to 2012.

Alan Papa has a MBA in Marketing from Cleveland State University and a BSBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Youngstown State University. Alan also has certification from the American College of Healthcare Executives.
