Cheyanne Schaefer

Cheyanne Schaefer, SHRM-SCP, serves as a Professor of Business at Tacoma Community College, focusing on equipping students for careers in business and human resources. Currently holding roles such as President Elect and District Director for Washington State SHRM, Cheyanne actively enhances communication between local chapters and the state council. As Founder and Principal Consultant of Cascade HR, Cheyanne aids small businesses in developing strong HR foundations. Previous experience includes a Senior Talent Business Partner position at Psomas and leadership roles within South Puget Sound SHRM, contributing to talent development and chapter engagement. Cheyanne's extensive background in human resources also encompasses positions at KPG, Concrete Technology Corporation, and Lindquist Dental Clinic for Children, along with education culminating in a Master’s in Human Resources Management from Capella University.
