Temie Giwa-Tubosun

Temie Giwa-Tubosun has an extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Temie is currently the Chief Executive Officer of LifeBank since April 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Founder and CEO of LifeBank Nigeria, where they mobilized blood donations, maintained inventory of blood available in the country, and ensured its timely delivery to save lives in Nigeria.

Before their time at LifeBank, Temie worked as a Program Manager at Nollywood Workshops, connecting film/television professionals to medical experts for accurate portrayals of health-related topics. Temie also served as the Managing Director at One Percent Project from July 2012 to December 2015.

Additionally, Temie held the role of Operations Manager at Lagos State Office of Facility Management and Maintenance, where they supervised technical and contract staff, implemented management processes for Lagos State facilities, and conducted health system facilities assessments. Temie also contributed to Nigerianstalk.org as a writer from August 2010 to August 2013.

Earlier in their career, Temie worked as a Health Systems Quality Improvement Coordinator for the Millennium Villages Project, implementing a supply chain management system and supervising community health workers and government workers. Temie also gained experience as a Health Analyst/IT Service Representative at Fairview Health Services and as a Health Economist Intern at the World Health Organization.

Furthermore, Temie has demonstrated their skills in program coordination and planning through their role as a Programs Intern at Lyceum of Monterey County, where they organized the Model United Nations program and created conference materials and lesson plans.

Temie Giwa - Tubosun completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Minnesota State University Moorhead, which they attended from 2003 to 2007. Temie then pursued further studies at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, where they obtained a Master's degree in Public Administration, International Management from 2008 to 2010. Temie also completed a DPMI Certificate in Project Management from the Development Project Management Institute in 2009.
