Charlotte Maughan

Charlotte Maughan has a diverse range of work experience. Charlotte started their career as a Customer Sales Assistant at Paydens Pharmacy in 2009. Charlotte then moved on to work as a Small Group Teaching Assistant at UCL School of Pharmacy from 2013 to 2016. During this time, they also worked as a PhD Student in Pharmaceutics at UCL School of Pharmacy and Department of Chemistry, where they focused on the design and optimization of high-throughput continuous flow processes.

After completing their PhD, Charlotte worked at LGC as a Scientist from 2017 to 2020, and later as a Senior Scientist from 2020 to 2021. In these roles, they managed multiple projects, wrote work proposals, and delegated workload. Charlotte also worked to tight deadlines and communicated with stakeholders to keep them updated on project developments.

In 2021, Charlotte joined MasterControl as a Project Manager, where they implemented SaaS quality management software for regulated industries. Their responsibilities included stakeholder and customer engagement, project plan development, and monitoring and executing project plans. Charlotte also ensured successful implementation and end user adoption by developing bespoke plans for each customer.

Charlotte Maughan has a strong educational background in biomedical sciences and nanoparticle vaccine adjuvants. Charlotte obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Southampton, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Nanoparticle vaccine adjuvants at UCL, completing their studies from 2013 to 2017.
