Michael Yeung

Michael Yeung (杨运鑫) is an accomplished leader in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space, currently serving as the Head of Asia at LayerTwo Labs and Co-Founder & President of the Applied Consensus Technology Institute of Hong Kong. With over a decade of experience in Bitcoin, Michael began mining and trading in 2011 and has been instrumental in organizing community events and promoting Bitcoin's use in educational institutions. As the founder of Saftonhouse Consulting Group, Michael aids organizations in leveraging blockchain technology. In addition, Michael holds significant roles within various organizations, including President of the International Division at New Web Group and being a member of the New Money Systems Advisory Board at the Lifeboat Foundation. An alumnus of Simon Fraser University, Michael has a strong commitment to advancing decentralized technologies and fostering innovation in the industry.
