Shermon Cruz

Shermon Cruz is a seasoned professional in strategic foresight and public safety education, currently serving as a Fellow at the Philippine Public Safety College and Executive Director and Chief Futurist at the Center for Engaged Foresight since 2010. Cruz holds multiple roles including UNESCO Chair in Anticipatory Governance and Regenerative Cities at Northwestern University and Program Director for the Postgraduate Certificate in Futures Thinking and Strategic Foresight at the Asian Institute of Management. Additionally, Cruz is the Chair of the Philippines Node for The Millennium Project and a Senior Consultant at the Development Academy of the Philippines. With a focus on training future public safety leaders, Cruz also contributes as an adjunct faculty member at multiple educational institutions. As a co-founder of MakeOurFuture Cooperative, there is a commitment to promoting sustainable practices. Cruz is a Ph.D. candidate in Human Society at the University of the Sunshine Coast and possesses advanced degrees from Northwestern University.
