Godfred Eyiah-Mensah

Godfred Eyiah-Mensah, M.D. serves as the Founder and CEO of Gem Wound Specialists, LLC and Co-Founder/Chief Medical Officer of AFRA Wound Care Associates, providing advanced wound management services across various care settings since November 2017. With extensive experience as a physician in multiple facilities, including LifeCare Hospitals and Metro Physical Medicine Group, Godfred has specialized in the care of critically ill patients and interventional pain management. Godfred's background includes serving as a primary physician at Selinsgrove Center and providing education and consultation to medical students as a Medical Sciences Educator. Godfred's medical training includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from Upstate Medical University and completion of residency programs in General Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals and Guthrie. Additional qualifications include a certificate from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Oberlin College.
