Peter DiLaura

Peter DiLaura is a Venture Partner at Lifeforce Capital. Peter has also served as the Chief Business and Strategy Officer at Sonoma Biotherapeutics, where they were responsible for all elements of company operations and strategy, including financing, corporate development and partnering, financial operations, program and portfolio management, legal, and HR. Prior to that, they were the Entrepreneur In Residence at Third Rock Ventures, where they led incubation team for early company concept to therapeutically manipulate biomolecular condensates, resulting in the creation and launch of Faze Medicines. Peter has also served as a Strategic Advisor at Dementia Discovery Fund and as an Advisor at Takeda. Peter is also the President & CEO of Second Genome, Inc., a South San Francisco biotechnology company developing novel drugs from microbiome science.

Peter DiLaura attended the University of Pennsylvania from 1991 to 1995, where they majored in economics with a concentration in finance from the Wharton School.
