Michael Helfrich

Michael Helfrich has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Michael is the founder and CEO of Blueforce Development Corp., a software products company focused on mobile/edge IoT, mobile communications, and collaboration for defense and security markets. Michael also serves as a Board Director at Lifeguard Health Networks. Helfrich previously worked as the CTO and EVP of Products and Technology at CommsFirst, Inc., where they developed and delivered products for disaster response and emergency communications. Michael also served as the VP of Product Strategy and Applied Technology at Groove Networks, Inc., where they led a collaboration initiative in Baghdad, Iraq. Prior to that, they were the Director of Product Development at Lotus Development Corp, where they brought Knowledge Management solutions to market. Helfrich began their career at Planning Research Corporation and Coopers & Lybrand, LLP, where they held managerial roles in technology and management consulting.

Michael Helfrich completed their education in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications from Towson University.
