Serguei Netessine

Serguei Netessine currently serves as Senior Vice Dean for Innovation and Global Initiatives at The Wharton School, where responsibilities include advancing the institution's internal business models and global strategies. Additionally, Serguei holds the position of Professor in the Operations, Information, and Decisions Department and has served as Vice Dean for Global Initiatives. In parallel, Serguei is engaged with Amazon as an Amazon Scholar at Core AI and operates as a Limited Partner at Impellent Ventures and rpv, advising on Deep Tech investment strategies. Advisory roles have also been taken on with Vytal and BetterBasket, while holding memberships in Wharton Alumni Angels and an advisory board position at LifeGuides, along with a long-term board commitment to Coursalytics. Serguei's academic credentials include a PhD in Business Administration/Operations Management from the University of Rochester and a dual degree in Computer Science from the National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET).
