Solángel Corpeño

Solángel Corpeño has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Solángel'smost recent position is as a Coach at LifeHikes®, where they utilize a unique experiential approach to learning and development. Prior to that, they worked as an Operations Manager and Coach at Humanagement, where they focused on creating efficient operational processes and designing growth strategies. Solángel also has experience as a Professor at Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana, where they teach and contributes to academic policies. In the past, Solángel held senior managerial roles at Laureate International Universities, leading digital teaching and learning programs and faculty development initiatives. Solángel has also worked in leadership positions at Cervecería Hondureña and Banco Ficohsa. Throughout their career, Solángel has demonstrated expertise in training, strategic planning, and operational management.

Solángel Corpeño holds a Master's Degree in Project Management from the Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana, which they obtained from 2005 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering at the same university from 1992 to 1996.

In addition to their formal education, Corpeño has obtained various certifications throughout their career. In September 2022, they completed the "¡Creciendo con Canvas Completo!" certification from Badgr (now part of Instructure). In December 2020, they obtained the "Foundations in Design Thinking" certification from IDEO U. Solángel also completed the "Insights for Innovation - IDEO'S APPROACH TO GATHERING HUMAN-CENTERED INSIGHTS THAT FUEL INNOVATION" certification from IDEO U in November 2020.

Furthermore, Corpeño has completed several certifications on various topics. These include "Instructional Design: Adult Learners" from LinkedIn in April 2020, "Agile Foundations" from LinkedIn in November 2019, and "Agile Instructional Design" from LinkedIn in November 2019. Solángel has also completed several certifications related to data science and analytics, such as "Data Science & Analytics Career Paths & Certifications: First Steps" from LinkedIn in December 2018, "Data Science for Business - Level 2" from IBM in November 2018, "Data Science Foundations - Level 1" from IBM in October 2018, and "Data Science Foundations - Level 2 (V2)" from IBM in October 2018.

Corpeño has also obtained certifications in other areas, including "How to Present and Stay on Point" from LinkedIn in April 2017, "Gamification of Learning" from LinkedIn in December 2016, and "Management Fundamentals" from LinkedIn in December 2016. Additionally, they completed the "Leading Productive One-on-One Meetings" certification from LinkedIn in October 2016.

Corpeño has obtained Agile certifications as well, including the "Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist" certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in July 2020 and the "Certified SAFe® 4 Product Owner/Product Manager" certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in November 2019. Solángel has also completed certifications on topics such as delegation and time management, including "Delegating Tasks to Your Team" from Lynda.com in October 2016 and "Time Management Fundamentals" from Lynda.com in May 2016.
