Terence Agbor

Terence Agbor, BMLS, MSc., PhD, FCACB is a clinical biochemist with extensive experience in both clinical and academic settings. Currently employed at LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services since January 2023, Terence previously served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Alberta from July 2019 to July 2023 and as a clinical biochemist at DynaLIFE Medical Labs from September 2017 to December 2022. Terence's expertise also includes a brief stint as a consultant clinical biochemist at Kingston Health Sciences Centre and several research roles at prestigious institutions, including post-doctoral positions at McMaster University and the University of Massachusetts Medical School, where research focused on molecular mechanisms related to inflammatory bowel disease syndrome and micro RNA regulation during hypoxia. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Medical Science from University College Dublin and an MSc in Medical and Pharmaceutical Research from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
