Simon Wegerif is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology and business leadership. Currently serving as Chief Scientist and Signal Processing Consultant at Lifelight® since September 2018, Wegerif has contributed to pioneering smartphone-based clinical observation technology. As the Founder and Managing Director of HRV Fit Ltd since October 2009, Wegerif has been instrumental in developing innovative biomedical applications for measuring autonomic nervous system function. Prior roles include Vice President at NXP Semiconductors, where Wegerif led the creation of secure transaction standards for NFC, and Vice President and General Manager at Philips Semiconductors, focusing on the turnaround of the DVD recording business and commercialization of HDTV technology. Wegerif began a career at the BBC as a Project Design Engineer, earning two patents for digital audio transmission innovations.
