Jyri Engeström

Jyri Engeström is a seasoned venture capitalist and entrepreneur with extensive experience in product management and startups. Currently serving as a General Partner at Lifeline Ventures since 2024, Jyri has also been an advisor at Yes VC since January 2018. Previous roles include being a Seed Investor at True Ventures from November 2014 to December 2017, where Jyri contributed to notable investments such as Iceye and Metacore, as well as Director of Product Management at Groupon, overseeing payment and point-of-sale products. Jyri founded Ditto.me, a local recommendations app acquired by Groupon, and co-founded Jaiku, an early mobile social app acquired by Google. Jyri's career includes significant positions at Google, Nokia, and Satama Interactive, with a strong foundation in product management and development stemming from a background in sociology and communication.
