Sami Lubega

Sami Lubega has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. They are currently serving as the Interim Director at East Bay Getting to Zero. Prior to this role, they held positions at LifeLong Medical Care as an Associate Medical Director and Physician. Sami also served as a Faculty member at Bay Area North & Central Coast AIDS Education & Training Center. They gained valuable experience at UCSF, where they worked as a Chief Resident, Resident Physician, and Medical Student. Additionally, they worked as a Research Coordinator at UCSF Memory and Aging Center and USC Maternal Child and Adolescent Center for Infectious Diseases and Virology.

Sami Lubega obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology from Stanford University. After that, Sami attended the University of California, San Francisco where they earned an MD degree.
