Engin Doğusoy

Engin Doğusoy is the Chief Technical Officer at Lifemote. Engin has previously worked as a software engineer for imoji, Build Inc., and Fleksy. Doğusoy has also been a Graduate Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon Silicon Valley and a Software Development Engineer Intern at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

Doğusoy began their career as a software engineer for imoji in May 2016. Engin was responsible for designing and developing custom Android views around imoji's REST API to enable easier integration with partners. In March 2017, they became a partner and tech lead at Build Inc.

In November 2013, Doğusoy joined Fleksy as a software engineer. Engin worked on the Fleksy Android app, which was awarded with Editors’ Choice and Top Developer Awards and had 4.4 star ratings (1-5 million downloads) by April 2016. Doğusoy focused on integrations with backend systems and partner APIs, and also designed and developed cross-platform mobile backend systems on AWS. Engin served as primary manager of AWS assets and services, and created prototypes on wearables, gesture detection systems, and smart fabrics.

Doğusoy left Fleksy in March 2016 to join SAP as a software developer. Engin worked there until October 2013, when they became a Graduate Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon Silicon Valley. In July 2009, Doğusoy interned at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid as a Software Development Engineer Intern.

Engin Doğusoy has a Sc.M in Software Engineering; Development and Management from Carnegie Mellon University, a BS in Computer Science and Engineering from Sabanci University, and certification from Oracle in Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 5/SE 6.
