Umut Kahrıman

Umut Kahrıman is a backend engineer at Lifemote. Umut has over three years of professional experience as a software developer. Their skills include Python, Django, Celery, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, MsSQL, VueJS, HTML/CSS/JQuery, NodeJS, Unix(CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian), Windows Server, Docker, and Git.

Umut Kahrıman began their career as a software developer at Sahra Telekom in September 2018. There, they worked on developing and maintaining Django/Vue projects. Umut also used scientific Python libraries to analyze and visualize data. In May 2020, they left Sahra Telekom to join Huawei as a software developer.

At Huawei, Kahrıman was responsible for deploying Django and Flask applications using Windows IIS. Umut also maintained Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS), Windows Servers, and Docker applications. In addition, they installed and used FineBI and added support for Turkey map to FineBI. Umut also created dashboard visualizations using H3-JS and Leaflet to visualize and serve more than 1 million data points. Furthermore, they created web scraping tools using greenlets to speed up the data extracting process. Lastly, they created standalone exe applications with Python/Django using PyInstaller and NSIS.

In December 2021, Kahrıman left Huawei to join Lifemote as a backend engineer.

Umut Kahrıman has a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from Ankara University and has completed certification courses from Linux Academy in Kubernetes Essentials and Learn Docker by Doing.
