Carol Ruiz, LPC-A, has extensive experience in mental health services, currently serving as a QMHP on the Mobile Crisis Outreach Team at Collin County MHMR since March 2020, where Carol conducts crisis assessments for individuals and families in need of immediate mental health support. Previously, roles included Team Lead for the QMHP HUGO Team and QMHP Resource Center at Lakes Regional Community Center, where assistance was provided to clients with mental illness. Carol's diverse background includes positions in educational support for military veterans at Dallas County Community College District, and military service as a Mental Health Specialist in the U.S. Army, providing mental health care and coordinating treatment plans. Carol holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Corrections.
