Joe Chovan

Joe Chovan is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the fields of aviation and engineering. Currently employed at Saab Sensis Corporation since June 2018, Joe focuses on FAA Traffic Management. Concurrently, Joe serves as an instructor at OCM BOCES, teaching adult continuing education courses on radio control model aviation and drones. Joe's previous roles include RPV Specialist at TufFlight Models Inc., product representative at Horizon Hobby, and software engineer at Lockheed Martin, where expertise included sonar and ground-based radar systems. Additionally, Joe contributed to the Academy of Model Aeronautics and moderated a significant online forum for model aircraft enthusiasts.
