Rod Collins is an experienced engineering professional with a career spanning over three decades. Since December 2001, Rod has been serving as the Principal Embedded Systems/Software Engineer at SAAB Sensis Corporation, where responsibilities include the design and architecture of radar sensor and air traffic embedded systems. Prior to this, Rod held the position of VP of Engineering at Tickets.com from December 1993 to October 2001, leading the engineering department in the development of events ticketing software. Additionally, from September 1989 to December 1993, Rod was the VP of Development at New Product Development, focusing on low power medical electronic devices. Rod earned a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies from Alfred State College - SUNY College of Technology.

LIFEPlan is a Care Coordination Organization (CCO), formed in 2018 along with six other CCO’s in New York State to meet the needs of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by collaborating with service providers through a Health Home model. CCOs are staffed by Care Managers with training and experience in the field of developmental disabilities. LIFEPlan CCO is a partnership of community-based agencies with a long history of serving people with I/DD, providing advocacy, recreational, educational and vocational services. We share a person-centered focus that improves services and supports through networking with highly trained human service, healthcare and other specialists.
