Jennifer Peters

In her role as executive vice president and general counsel for Lifepoint Health, Jennifer Peters represents the company's interests in all legal matters impacting the organization; provides strategic legal guidance to the company's senior leadership and board of directors; oversees the company's corporate governance work; and manages the business of the legal department, ensuring the delivery of consistent legal guidance across the organization and in each of the communities Lifepoint serves.

Prior to her current role, she was senior vice president, and chief operations counsel. Before joining Lifepoint, Jennifer served as general counsel, secretary, and chief compliance officer for Simplex Healthcare, and as vice president and associate general counsel at Community Health Systems prior to that. She also served as vice president and was part of the senior leadership team at a hospital in York, Pennsylvania for six years.
