Perry Ballard

Perry Ballard has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. From 1999 to 2000, they worked as a Medical Technologist at Crittenden Regional Hospital. Perry then joined St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and held various roles, including Medical Technologist from 2000 to 2005, and Registered Nurse from 2005 to 2007. In 2008, they worked as a Registered Nurse at UAMS - University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences until 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Nursing Manager for Cardiac Telemetry at Baptist Health. Perry then worked at Arkansas Heart Hospital as a Registered Nurse from 2013 to 2016. From 2016 to 2019, they served as a Nursing Manager Med Surg/Ortho/Spine and RN House Supervisor at CHI St. Vincent. In 2019, they joined CHI Health as the Director of Nursing Services until 2021. Currently, they are with LifePoint Health as the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer since February 2021 and previously held the positions of Interim Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Nursing Officer.

Perry Ballard has pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Perry then went on to complete an Associate of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse at Southwest Tennessee Community College. Currently, Perry is also enrolled in the University of Phoenix, working towards a Master of Science degree in Nursing Administration.
