Ryan MacKey

Ryan Mackey serves as the Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO) and AI/RCM/CDI Physician Innovator at LifePoint Health®, overseeing clinical initiatives and technology across the national healthcare system since June 2018. Responsibilities include the development of best practice clinical strategies and patient-centric solutions that enhance value and efficiency. Previous roles include Interim CMIO at Mon Health, where Ryan managed EHR implementations, and positions as an EHR Physician Champion at Excite Health Partners and a Consultant at Huntzinger, focusing on EHR optimization across various medical facilities. Ryan's early career involved significant experience in private practice and hospital settings, leading numerous health IT projects and processes. An educational background includes a Bachelor's degree from the University of Miami, a Medical Doctorate from Barry University, and a Master's in Health Administration with a focus on Healthcare Informatics from Capella University, expected completion in December 2023.
