Jianhua

Jianhua Ma is a Senior Data Scientist and Computational Biologist at LifeQ, Inc. since August 2019, specializing in machine learning applications for cardiovascular disease analysis through the development of the LifeQ-PWF algorithm framework, utilizing convolution, band-pass, and band-stop filters for PPG signal processing. Previously, Jianhua Ma was a PhD student and research assistant at the University of Virginia from September 2013 to May 2019, focusing on the first-principles-based design of spintronic materials and devices, employing VASP for high-throughput calculations on electronic structures and stability of various Heusler compounds. Jianhua Ma holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Beihang University.
