Michael Gulizia

Michael Gulizia is a dedicated legal professional currently serving as a Parliamentary Research Assistant in the Office of Senator Toni Varone at the Senate of Canada since May 2024. Gulizia has also held positions as a Legislative Development Intern for Senator Marilou McPhedran and gained experience as a Caseworker with the Ottawa and District Injured Workers Group. Additionally, Gulizia has been a Leadership Trainer for the Lifesaving Society Ontario and has multiple roles with the City of Toronto, including Facility/Pool In-Charge and various leadership positions. Further legal experience includes a Judicial Internship at the Ontario Court of Justice and a Summer Student position with Community Legal Services of Ottawa. Education pursuits include a Doctor of Law at the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Geography from York University.
