Joe Vega - PMP, CSM

Joe Vega, PMP, CSM, has over 35 years of experience in the IT field. Joe began their career in 1985 as an Advanced Systems Engineer/QA Manager at EDS. In 2000, they became an IT Manager at UPS Supply Chain Solutions, where they were responsible for project management of WMS applications, release management of WMS applications, and QA management of service parts logistics. In 2007, they moved to Serena Software as a Senior Consultant. In 2011, they became a Business Technical Project Manager at Newell Rubbermaid. In 2014, they worked as a Project Manager (contractor) at American Airlines. In 2015, they were promoted to Sr. Project Manager at American Airlines. In 2018, they became Manager of the PMO at Kubota Tractor Corporation. In 2020, they joined Verizon as a Program Manager. Most recently, in 2022, they became an Agile Project Manager at LifeScience Logistics.

Joe Vega holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from St.Edward's University and has obtained certifications as a Certified ScrumMaser from the Scrum Alliance in September 2018 and as a PMP from the Project Management Institute. Joe has also attended the Waters Management Group.
