Jennifer Groves is an experienced educator and professional with a diverse background in teaching, photography, and community service. Currently serving as a Teacher Assistant for Fourth Grade at Jackson Day Charter School since August 2023, Jennifer previously worked as an Elementary School Teacher at Community Christian Academy until November 2023. Jennifer's extensive experience includes a long tenure at LifeShare Carolinas from May 2008 to November 2023, where responsibilities encompassed accounting, billing oversight, and volunteer outreach. Additionally, Jennifer has contributed as a Secretary at Donate Life North Carolina and held a Registrar position at Atrium Health. Jennifer began a career in retail management as a Store Manager at After Hours Formalwear, achieving significant performance improvements. Jennifer is also a certified professional in cosmetology, having studied at the Carolina Academy of Cosmetic Art & Science.

LifeShare Carolinas is proud to fulfill our mission of giving hope, life, and healing in 23 counties in North Carolina. Founded in 1970, our core purpose is to save lives by coordinating the recovery and distribution of lifesaving organs, eyes, and tissue for transplantation and research. We also provide education to hospital staff and community partners about the donation process. For the courageous families whose loved ones gave the gift of life, we provide grief counseling and ongoing support through our continuing care program.
