Kate McCullough has extensive experience in community services management and public relations within the healthcare and media sectors. Currently serving as Community Services Manager at LifeShare Carolinas since February 2018, Kate previously held the position of CCMO Associate at Carolinas HealthCare System. From November 2011 to August 2016, Kate was Community Services Supervisor at Nevada Donor Network, where leadership and strategic planning efforts led to a significant increase in donor registrations and successful fundraising initiatives. Earlier career roles included various producing positions at KLAS-TV, WPDE, and WJET, where Kate demonstrated strong skills in content creation and audience engagement. Kate holds a BA in Communication from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.

LifeShare Carolinas is proud to fulfill our mission of giving hope, life, and healing in 23 counties in North Carolina. Founded in 1970, our core purpose is to save lives by coordinating the recovery and distribution of lifesaving organs, eyes, and tissue for transplantation and research. We also provide education to hospital staff and community partners about the donation process. For the courageous families whose loved ones gave the gift of life, we provide grief counseling and ongoing support through our continuing care program.
