Lifesong for Orphans
Anna Valdez, MA LPC-A, currently serves in the role of Child and Family Development at Lifesong for Orphans since June 2023 and has been a Mental Health Therapist and Program Director at Chosen since May 2021. In the position of Program Director, Anna leads a program focusing on specific outputs and outcomes while providing management and supervision of program managers and direct care staff to ensure excellence in delivering Chosen’s Model of Care for foster, adopt, kinship, and birth families. Previous experience includes serving as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor-Intern and Director of Programs at FOSTERING HOPE AUSTIN, as well as roles at Back2Back Ministries and Sharyland High School. Anna holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands and an additional Master of Arts in English from The University of Texas-Pan American, among other educational credentials.

Lifesong for Orphans
Lifesong for Orphans is bringing joy and purpose to orphaned and vulnerable children through indigenous orphan care around the world and foster care initiatives in communities across the United States. We facilitate no-cost church and private adoption funds nationwide and provide adoption grants and loans to adoptive families. Thanks to TMG Foundation and key partners, all of Lifesong’s fundraising and administrative costs are covered. 100% of received donations directly help children in need. Lifesong's 4-part pledge: Our Children” will: -Not want for food, clothing, medical care, or shelter -Be taught the Gospel and how to live as followers of Jesus Christ -Receive a quality education to provide a foundation for their future -Experience continued love and support as they transition into adult living
