Melissa Morgan Cobbs

Melissa Morgan Cobbs serves as the Regional Clinical Director for North Carolina at LifeStance Health since December 2019, having also held roles as Assistant Clinical Director and Clinical Site Director within the organization. Additionally, Melissa works as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Counseling and Family Studies at Liberty University since August 2021 and serves as Clinical Supervisor at Counselor Collaborative. Prior clinical experience includes serving as Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Counselor at Anuvia Prevention & Recovery Center from 2012 to 2019, and as a Human Service Clinician at Daymark Recovery Services from 2011 to 2016, focusing on mobile crisis intervention. Melissa holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of the Cumberlands, a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
