Den DeMarinis, MS has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In 2000, they worked as a Product Specialist at Collette Vacations, followed by a role as Director of Sales at Paramount Management Associates in 2002. They then served as a Customer Service Manager at Triarch Industries from 2003 to 2006. From 2006 to 2008, they held the position of Director of Operations at the Hereditary Angioedema Association, where they supervised employees and organized various events. In 2008, they became a Group Sales Manager at Sheraton Providence Airport Hotel. In 2011, they joined the James L. Maher Center as Chief Development Officer and later as Capital Campaign Manager. From 2014 to 2015, they were the Director of the Gabrielle Dinsmore Heart & Hope Fund, responsible for administration, program development, and fundraising initiatives. In 2015, they became the Director of Development at the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council. Most recently, in 2020, they took on the role of Director of Day Support Services at LifeStream.
Den DeMarinis, MS has a diverse education history. They received a Master's Degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Johnson & Wales University, attending from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a BS in Hospitality Management and an Associates Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, both from Johnson & Wales University, attending from 1997 to 1999. Before their time at Johnson & Wales, Den DeMarinis attended Nassau Community College from 1994 to 1996, where they earned an AS in Liberal Arts. Additionally, they completed their general studies at Archbishop Molloy from 1990 to 1994. Lastly, Den DeMarinis attended Saint Elizabeth from 1981 to 1990 to complete their general education.
In addition to their educational background, Den DeMarinis has also earned a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021.
