The Portia Learning Centre
Kelly-Anne Bolivar is an experienced professional currently serving as an Instructor Therapist at The Portia Learning Centre since October 2017 and as a Developmental Service Worker at Mainstreet Community Services since July 2016. In these roles, Kelly-Anne Bolivar provides care to youth and adults with special needs and dual diagnosis, assisting clients with daily tasks such as hygiene, outings, and meals in a group home environment. Previously, from August 2011 to August 2016, Kelly-Anne Bolivar worked as a Sales Representative at Groupe Dynamite, where responsibilities included cashiering, greeting, fitting room assistance, and maintaining strong communication with the team. Kelly-Anne Bolivar holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Carleton University, completed in 2017, and graduated from Holy Trinity Catholic High School in 2012.

When your child enters our program, they receive a full assessment and a customized plan designed to enhance their language development, communication, social and life skills, adaptive behavioural needs, and ultimately, personal success. We also believe parental involvement is key. We work directly with your family to give you hands-on tools designed to maximize learning at home and in the community. We make learning enjoyable for children with ASD and their families with programs, practical techniques, and workshops that encourage everyone’s participation.
