Karen Mitchell

Karen Mitchell, known as the Freefall Grandmother, has dedicated their career to supporting families throughout the childbirth journey and beyond. Since 2001, they have worked as a Birth, Breastfeeding, and Baby Educator at The Birth Place, offering guidance during childbirth and the baby's first year. Additionally, they serve as a Sales Representative at Clean Club Calgary and are a Partner at LifeVantage Corporation, where they focus on improving health and well-being. Earlier in their career, from 1988 to 2000, they worked as a prenatal educator and birth attendant at Pacific Prenatal. Karen also held the role of Family Services Advisor at Dignity Memorial Funeral Homes from 2014 to 2018, assisting families with funeral and cemetery services.
