Phyllis Hooper

Phyllis Hooper is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in technical support and education. Currently serving as a Paraprofessional Educator at Smith County Board of Education since April 2019, Phyllis previously held various roles at LifeWay Christian Resources since December 1992, including Senior Support Analyst and Client Engineer, where responsibilities included troubleshooting and resolving software, hardware, and network issues for corporate clients and retail stores. Earlier career experience at The United Methodist Publishing House from July 1982 to August 1992 involved positions such as Department Assistant/Technical Trainer and Pre Audit Secretary, where Phyllis managed employee reimbursement accounts, prepared training materials, and supported sales management. Educational qualifications include an Associate’s Degree in Information Management Technology from Volunteer State Community College and a high school diploma in Business from Mt. Juliet High School.
