Laura Firebaugh Lmsw

Laura Firebaugh, LMSW, is a dedicated community health professional with significant experience in sexual health education and public health. Currently serving as a Community Health Educator at LifeWorks Austin since December 2022, Laura focuses on providing sexual health education services and supporting organizational training and resource development. Previous roles include Public Health Educator I for the City of Austin, where extensive knowledge on sexual abuse and healthy relationships was cultivated, and Engagement Specialist at Lone Star Victims Advocacy Project, where Laura developed volunteer coordination and engagement strategies. Experience also includes serving as a Digital Services Advocate at the National Domestic Violence Hotline and as a Social Work Intern for San Antonio Independent School District, helping students in need of housing support.
