Amber Cress, MHA, serves as the Business and Contracts Coordinator at Lifeworks Services, Inc. since August 2022, and also holds the position of Co-President of the DEIA Committee. In addition, Amber has been an active member of the Minnesota Board of Directors for the Arthritis Foundation since July 1998, recognized as one of only 54 Platinum Ambassadors in the U.S. and serving as an advocate, volunteer, and patient for the organization since 1998. Amber's academic qualifications include a Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration from Rasmussen University, a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Health Science from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and an Associate's Degree in Psychology from Inver Hills Community College. Amber completed high school at Simley Senior High School in 2012.

Lifeworks is a Minnesota 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1965 by parents of children with disabilities. Our mission is to partner with people with disabilities to drive change by increasing opportunity and access in the community. We envision a community where people with disabilities are more broadly valued, hired by employers, receiving support, and participating in ordinary activities. Through Fiscal Support, Employment, and Day Services – as well as through partnerships with nearly 300 businesses – Lifeworks provides support to 2,500 individuals with disabilities and their families throughout the Twin Cities and greater Mankato area.
