Kerry Colwell

Kerry Colwell has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. They began their career as a Senior Inside Sales representative at The Des Moines Register in 1995 and later transitioned to become an Account Manager at The Stelter Company in 2000. In 2003, Kerry worked as a Real Estate Assistant at RE/MAX Real Estate Group, LLC. and continued in that role until 2011. From 2009 to 2015, Kerry served as a Senior Sales Team Leader Account Manager at Interstate Batteries - All Battery Center. In 2015, they joined West Des Moines Community Schools as a Kindergarten Assistant and remained in that position until 2020. Kerry then transitioned to become a Benefits Consultant at Mercer from 2020 to 2021 before moving on to become a Senior Customer Service Representative at LifeWorks EAP & Wellbeing Solutions from 2021 to 2022. Currently, Kerry is working as an HR Specialist at UnityPoint Health.

Kerry Colwell attended Valley High School from 1981 to 1985. Following high school, Kerry pursued Early Childhood Education and Teaching at Des Moines Area Community College from 1986 to 2016.
