Tom Claffey has work experience spanning over a decade in the fitness industry. Tom most recently worked at Lift Brands as a Franchise Business Manager for the UK & Ireland. Prior to that, Tom was the General Manager at Syn Leicester. Tom spent the majority of their career at Snap Fitness UK & Ireland, starting as a Gym/Sales Assistant in 2013, before becoming a Personal Trainer, Assistant Manager, and ultimately General Manager, which they held for six years until 2022.
Tom Claffey has a diverse education history with a focus on sports and fitness. From 2004 to 2009, they attended Uppingham Community College and obtained their GCSE's. From 2009 to 2011, Tom received a Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Instructing Exercise and Fitness at Loughborough College. In 2011, they completed a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Sport (Performance & Excellence) also at Loughborough College. The following year, Tom obtained a VTCT Level 3 Diploma in the Prevention and Management of Sports Injuries from the same institution. In 2013 and 2014, Tom pursued an Advanced Level 3 Personal Trainer degree from LifeTime Training. Tom returned to the same school in 2015 and obtained a Level 3 Leadership & Management degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management. In addition to these degrees, Tom has received several additional certifications, including Performance Management: Setting Goals and Managing Performance and Time Management for Managers from LinkedIn and Emergency First Aid At Work from Cito Training.
