Daniel Baker is an accomplished engineering manager and metallurgist with extensive experience in materials testing and development across various industries. Currently serving as the Engineering Manager for Materials Testing at LIFT, Daniel leads initiatives to enhance characterization capabilities for a diverse range of materials. Prior roles include Senior Metallurgist at ACE - HEET, Body Materials Development Lab Physical Metallurgy Lead at General Motors, and Research Engineer at AK Steel Corporation, among others. Daniel possesses a Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and has made significant contributions to advanced materials characterization and metallurgical processes throughout a career that began in 2001. Additionally, Daniel serves as an Archery Coach at Rising Phoenix Archery, guiding junior Olympic development students.
