Noel Mack is currently the CTO at LIFT, a Detroit-based public-private partnership designed to help develop and deploy advanced lightweight material manufacturing technologies. Noel previously served as the Vice President of Technology at LIFT from January 2020 to January 2022. Prior to their work at LIFT, Noel was the Executive Director Engineering - Driveline Systems at AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing from January 2016 to December 2020. In this role, they led the engineering team responsible for design, release, and verification of all components and subsystems globally, including torque transfer subsystems and related controls/SW and electronics. Noel also drove the approach for the development of key technologies and subsystems to standardization, modularity, and scalability in collaboration with cross-functional/multidisciplinary peers. Noel has also represented the company at industry events and served as a member of CTI (Car Training Institute) advisory board.
Noel Mack has a Masters in Engineering Management from the University of Detroit Mercy and a Business Turnaround Managament from the same school. Noel also has an Engineering Mechanical / Aeronautical degree from the University of the Witwatersrand.
Noel Mack works with Victor Claudio - CFO, Joe Steele - Senior Director, Communication & Legislative Affairs, and James McManus - Senior VP, Sales & Business Development.
