Zachary Mears

Zachary Mears serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of Strategy & Growth at Anduril Industries since March 2021, and is also the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for LIFT - Lightweight Innovations For Tomorrow since June 2017. Previously, Mears held senior advisory positions at Covington & Burling LLP and Battelle, along with serving as Assistant Vice President for National Security Programs and Research at The Ohio State University. Mears has extensive experience within the United States Department of Defense, where roles included Deputy Chief of Staff to the Secretary of Defense and Director for Strategic Planning at the National Security Council. Mears holds a PhD and an MA in Political Science from The Ohio State University and a BA in Political Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
