LIFTbuild

LIFTbuild® begins by challenging every traditional industry paradigm from project inception through owner occupancy and operation of a high-performing facility. The manufacturing industry has experienced significant productivity, quality, and innovation improvements over the past twenty years. LIFTbuild began by adopting a manufacturing systems approach to the entire design, procurement, and assembly process for building construction. This Vertical Manufacturing℠ approach allows us to reduce complexity, increases assembly efficiency, and minimizes variability in the delivery process. To achieve the necessary delivery performance improvements, our approach transforms four key areas of needed change: design, assembly process, logistics, and supply chain. LIFTbuild utilizes patented approaches to the assembly process of vertical construction. The building structure consists of concrete structural spines and steel-framed decks for the roof and floors. All floor plate assembly is done at ground level. Once the deck has been assembled, the exterior façade and selected systems are installed. Prefabricated sub-assemblies are placed prior to the completed floor plate assembly being raised and locked into its final position. The fit-out is accomplished in a fully enclosed space while the floors below continue to be built below. This maximizes potential savings on schedule and budget while providing a safe and productive work environment.
