Courtney Harkins

Courtney Harkins has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Courtney is currently the Director of Marketing & Communications at the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team since June 2022. Prior to this, Courtney worked as a Freelancer in the Olympic and outdoor industry, focusing on writing, social media, and speaking engagements. Courtney also held positions at Elevate Communications, where they served as the Senior Director of Digital PR + Content Marketing and Director of Digital PR + Content Marketing, working with prestigious clients such as the Boston Red Sox, Liverpool FC, and Red Bull Crashed Ice, among others. Furthermore, they were the Content Marketing Manager at U.S. Ski & Snowboard, responsible for developing and managing a long-term communications vision for the national teams. Before that, they worked as a Social/Digital/Content Account Manager at Verde PR & Consulting, where they led branding strategies for various outdoor industry companies. Additionally, they gained expertise as a Marketing Coordinator at Symplified, Inc., a Wine Buyer and Salesperson at Cured, an Outreach & Event Coordinator at BCycle, and a Marketing/Public Relations Intern at Denver Bike Sharing. Courtney'searly career involved working as a Runner at ESPN, assisting with statistics, proofreading scripts, and general production tasks for various sports events.

Courtney Harkins attended Concord Academy from 2003 to 2007. It is unknown whether Courtney earned a degree or pursued a specific field of study during this time. Following this, Courtney attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with a focus on Creative Writing.
